I focus on observing how bodies interlock with disciplinary mechanisms.
A large part of my work concentrates on the school system and particularly on how discipline is exerted there.
‘How can I become a correct student in the correct school?’ is a collection of drawn skits inspired by my memories as a teenager studying in a vocational high school in Taiwan. In the work, I humorously depict a very strict school life organised by an overloaded timetable and punctuated by nationalist rituals.
